Radiology Technologist, Bend OR (Urgent Care) Full Time
About The Position
High Lakes Urgent Care in Bend, Oregon is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist. This role offers a unique schedule of Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no mandatory call, nights, or weekends. Optional weekend call is available for additional hours. The compensation is set for an urgent care setting, reflecting the lower stress and better schedule compared to a hospital environment. This position is ideal for an experienced tech tired of rotating shifts, a working parent needing a predictable schedule, a new ARRT graduate seeking a supportive environment, or a semi-retired tech wanting to stay active in the field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
- Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements
Nice To Haves
- Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
- Work closely with providers to deliver results efficiently and with care.
- Position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion.
- Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment.
- Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language.
