About The Position

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a Supplemental Radiology Technologist to join their team. The role involves completing all radiological exams by following specific equipment procedures, providing excellent customer service to patients, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The technologist may also assist other clinical staff with tasks such as cleaning rooms, rooming patients, and taking medical histories, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The position does not require working weekends, major holidays, night shifts, or being on call.

Requirements

Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
Knowledge of current medical standards and regulations
Interpersonal/human relations skills
Provides professional, positive customer service to all patients and works well with other staff
Ability to maintain and accurately record EHR files

Responsibilities

Completes all radiological exams
Carries out the tests by following the procedures for use of the specific equipment required
Provides excellent customer service to our patients
Maintains patient confidentiality
Assists other clinical staff with cleaning rooms, rooming patients and doing Medical Histories (If necessary)
