About The Position
Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a Supplemental Radiology Technologist to join their team. The role involves performing radiological exams, providing excellent customer service, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to HIPAA regulations. The position does not require working weekends, major holidays, night shifts, or being on call.
Requirements
- Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
- Knowledge of current medical standards and regulations
- Interpersonal/human relations skills; provides professional, positive customer service to all patients and works well with other staff
- Ability to maintain and accurately record EHR files
Responsibilities
- Completes all radiological exams
- Carries out tests by following the procedures for use of the specific equipment required
- Provides excellent customer service to our patients
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- If necessary will assist other clinical staff with cleaning rooms, rooming patients and doing Medical Histories
- Stays in compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patients and or other clinic personal
