About The Position

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiology imaging procedures and related techniques for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. The role is carried out under the supervision of radiology leadership and in accordance with professional standards and state and federal regulatory requirements. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with an evening schedule on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The position is sign-on bonus eligible.

Requirements

Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or registry eligibility in accordance with registry guidelines.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or an equivalent course credentialed by the American Heart Association.
Licensed and certified by the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
No experience required.

Responsibilities

Perform radiological diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice and departmental standards.
Assess pertinent information and prepare and educate patients about procedures and expectations.
Complete documentation of patient care and procedures.
Use hospital and departmental information and technology systems and operate equipment.
Maintain productivity, adaptability, flexibility, and timeliness to meet patient-care and department needs.
Follow department policies and procedures and modality-specific safety protocols.
Participate in departmental and modality meetings and committee initiatives.
Complete hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
Participate in assignments, duties, and responsibilities supporting continuous improvement in alignment with management and organizational goals.
