About The Position

Under the supervision of the Chief MRI Technologist, Director of Radiology, Chairman, or Manager, the MRI Technologist performs MRI imaging procedures and related techniques for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. The role follows professional standards and state and federal regulatory requirements. This is a full-time position for 36 hours per week, scheduled Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or an equivalent course credentialed by the American Heart Association.
Licensed and certified by the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in accordance with the scope of practice and departmental standards.
Assess pertinent information and prepare and educate patients about procedures and expectations.
Complete documentation of patient care and procedures.
Use hospital and departmental information and technology systems and operate related equipment.
Maintain productivity, adaptability, flexibility, and timeliness while managing workload and processes to meet patient care and department needs.
Follow department policies and procedures and modality-specific safety protocols.
Participate in departmental and modality meetings and committee initiatives.
Complete hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
Participate in assignments, duties, and responsibilities that support continuous improvement in alignment with management and organizational goals.
