About The Position

The MRI Technologist performs MRI imaging procedures and related techniques for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. The role operates under the supervision of the Chief MRI Technologist, Director of Radiology, Chairman, or Manager and follows professional standards and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements. This is a full-time position scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The position is sign-on bonus eligible.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or an equivalent course credentialed by the American Heart Association.
Licensed and certified by the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice and departmental standards.
Assess pertinent information and prepare and educate patients about procedures and expectations.
Complete documentation of patient care and procedures.
Use hospital and departmental information systems, technology, and equipment.
Maintain productivity, adaptability, flexibility, and timeliness to meet patient-care and departmental needs.
Follow department policies and procedures and modality-specific safety protocols.
Participate in departmental and modality meetings and committee initiatives.
Complete hospital, departmental, and professional requirements.
Participate in assignments, duties, and responsibilities that support continuous improvement in alignment with management and organizational goals.
