About The Position
Select Rehabilitation Hospital-Denton is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist / CT Tech for a day shift position. This role involves preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining the scanning process, and positioning patients correctly to capture appropriate images. The technologist will operate equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue. Requirements
- Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years experience in Medical Imaging field (not including school).
- Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
- Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process of the scans to the patient.
- Properly position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
- Correctly operate equipment in order to produce cross-sectional images of patient's bones, organs and tissue.
