JOB TYPE Classification: Non Exempt Supervises Positions: JOB SUMMARY Assists in the provision of patient care, therapy support, departmental maintenance, and administrative duties as directed by PT, PTA, OTR/L, COTA, SLP in a therapeutic manner which acts to promote the patient’s functional ability and lead to improved quality of life.The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience necessary.

Nice To Haves

• General working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• General knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT/OT/SLP staff in patient treatment under direct supervision of licensed team member.
• Prepare and maintain department treatment rooms and equipment for patient use.
• Responsible for assisting with clerical duties for department.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory (including DME as applicable).
• Responsible for assisting with departmental safety and quality control monitoring.
• Responsible for teaching basic rehab technician duties to students and volunteers.
