About The Position

Seeking a Radiologic/CT Technologist. Eligible for sign-on bonus! This is a full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The role is benefited after a 60-day waiting period. The schedule example is Monday - Friday, 7am - 5:30pm. This position shares call duties on weekdays from 5:30pm to 7am, and on weekends from Friday at 5:30pm to Monday at 7am. Holiday calls are also shared. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing X-ray examinations ordered by physicians, PAs, and CNPs. They must collaborate closely with Physicians, PAs, NPs, Radiologists, other Radiology personnel, and the Director of Radiology. Responsibilities include staying current with department Policies and Procedures, adhering to procedures set by the Radiologist group, ordering supplies, performing equipment maintenance, and following all Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines for the Radiology Department. The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT examinations ordered by physicians, PAs, and CNPs, working closely with the same team as the Radiologic Technologist. Their duties also include staying current with department policies, ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, and adhering to all relevant rules and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Maintain credentials for ARRT and the State of Nebraska.
  • Attain two years of x-ray training in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology which qualifies them to take a national registry examination.
  • Pass the registry examination to become an American Registered Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).
  • Have a good working knowledge of anatomy.
  • Understand the principles of physics, electricity, and methods of obtaining clearly defined images.
  • Be able to set up and operate equipment.
  • Know how to obtain diagnostic images.
  • Be able to maintain the system of records, scheduling patients, and checking charges.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefers both Radiologic and CT Technologist skills.
  • Two years of work experience in the field of Radiology in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
