About The Position

The Multi-modality Technologist position is within the Radiology - Diagnostic department and is a Part Time role. The role requires a minimum of any two or more specified modalities. The compensation range is $44.21 - $65.71, which is an estimate based on minimum qualifications. Requirements

  • Current BLS certification with American Heart Association.
  • A minimum of any two or more of the following modalities: Radiography Technologist, Computed Tomography Technologist, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, Mammography Technologist, Angiography (Interventional) Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Specific license and ARRT or equivalent certifications for each chosen modality (detailed list provided in job description).
  • For recent radiologic technology graduates: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.
  • For Angiography (Interventional) Technologists: Current ACLS certification with American Heart Association; obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • For technologists performing nuchal translucency sonography: Current NTQR or equivalent Nuchal Translucency registered certification within 18 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • For Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist: Preferred additional registered current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation; and Preferred additional current Massachusetts DPH Radiologist Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.
  • For Angiography (Interventional) Technologists: Preferred additional current ARRT registered certification in Vascular-Interventional radiography with RT(VI) designation and/or preferred additional current Cardiac-Interventional radiography with RT(CI) designation and/or preferred additional current Cardio-Vascular interventional radiography with RT(CV) designation.
  • For technologists performing vascular sonography: Additional current CCI registered certification as a Registered Vascular Specialist with RVS designation and/or additional current ARRT registered certification in Vascular Sonography with RT(VS) designation.
  • For technologists performing breast sonography: Additional current ARDMS registered certification in Breast with RDMS(BR) designation.
  • Preferred additional current ARDMS registered certification in Musculoskeletal with RMSK S designation.
  • Preferred additional current ARDMS registered certification in Pediatric Sonography with RDMS(PS) designation.
  • Preferred additional current ARDMS registered certification in Fetal Echocardiography with RDMS(FE) designation.
  • Preferred additional current ARDMS registered certification in Neurosonology with RDMS(NE) designation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using at least two modalities from the specified list.
  • Maintain current BLS certification with American Heart Association.
  • Obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications for each modality performed.
  • Meet specific certification deadlines, such as ACLS within 6 months of hire or NTQR within 18 months of hire for specific procedures.
  • Adhere to site modality accreditation requirements for registered certifications.
