About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology Technician to support outpatient imaging services. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings solid technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and flexibility to work across multiple clinic locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an outpatient setting
  • California Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (CRT-R) License
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in multi-site or community-based outpatient clinics
  • Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Position patients and operate imaging equipment, adjusting voltage, current, exposure time, and distance according to provider orders and exam specifications
  • Review and evaluate computer-generated images to ensure diagnostic quality and accuracy
  • Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and monitor them throughout exams to ensure safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with care team members to provide timely, high-quality patient services
  • Apply strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to obtain proper views of affected areas
  • Interpret and adhere to statutes, rules, and regulations related to radiation safety
  • Assist in identifying technical or operational issues and submit recommendations to leadership
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records to support continuity of care
  • Ensure proper documentation related to the licensing and registration of radiation-producing equipment
  • Coordinate and support preventive maintenance activities and monitor equipment performance
  • Participate in the standardization and continuous improvement of imaging policies and procedures
