About The Position

Chino Valley Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technician II to perform imaging procedures according to department protocols and help patients accomplish their imaging needs. The role may involve diagnostic radiography, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures. The technician participates in performance improvement and quality control activities, helps maintain the Performance Improvement Program, manages department supplies, and promotes teamwork and good customer service. The position also includes scheduling for assigned subdepartments, maintaining their supplies and equipment, and processing and transmitting images to PACS. In a manager’s or director’s absence, the technician oversees the radiology area and/or staff. This is a per diem position with a variable shift. The compensation estimate is $39.00; the actual starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
• Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required effective July 1, 2017.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities
