About The Position

The Radiology Tech operates radiology equipment to perform imaging procedures according to protocol and attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of imaging procedures. The role performs diagnostic radiographic procedures including portable imaging, trauma, emergency room, fluoroscopy, and surgery procedures. The position is per diem with a rotating shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Allied Health Program.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Radiography (ARRT) license.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist state license.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, including portable imaging, trauma, emergency room, fluoroscopy, and surgery procedures.
• Obtain all required documentation and supplies.
• Ensure correct patient information on requests, reports, and PACS.
• Organize the work area and maintain supplies.
• Attend to direct and indirect patient care needs to support successful imaging procedures.
