About The Position
The Radiology Tech I performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations, including CMS requirements. The role serves as a first-line interface with customers and supports completion of their imaging needs. The technologist also participates in performance improvement and quality control activities and processes and transmits images to PACS.
Requirements
- Current CRT issued by CDPH.
- Obtain a fluoroscopy permit from CDPH within 6 months of hire.
- Obtain a venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
- ARRT-R required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
