Radiology Student Intern PRN
About The Position
This position supports HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge’s mission to improve the quality of life of those it serves by addressing the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, a Radiologist, and the Diagnostic Imaging supervisor, the student radiologic technologist performs procedures according to established protocols for patients from neonates through geriatrics. The role is responsible for maintaining technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. The student performs job functions under the supervision of a registered radiologic technologist and may perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be eligible for ARRT or enrolled in an accredited radiology program.
- Hold AHA or ARC BLS certification.
- Have graduated from an accredited school of medical radiography or be enrolled in a radiology program.
- Have clinical rotation experience or one year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients from neonates through geriatrics.
- Maintain technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.
- Perform job functions under the supervision of a registered radiologic technologist.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor when needed.
