About The Position

The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine is seeking highly qualified individuals for tenure-earning and tenured positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, and full Professor. These roles are focused on imaging-related and radiochemistry research, with a specific emphasis on leadership for the cyclotron facility and radiopharmaceutical production programs. The successful candidates will be expected to have a PhD, demonstrate strong leadership and collaborative skills, possess a clear research vision, mentor trainees, and secure extramural funding (e.g., NIH, federal, foundation, industry).
