About The Position

The Radiology Rep transports patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital. The role assists technologists with patient lifting and care, performs clerical activities, and maintains the cleanliness of transport equipment. The representative communicates professionally and courteously with hospital personnel, patients, and office staff in support of HCA HealthONE Aurora’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Equipment that may be moved or lifted includes wheelchairs, stretchers, inpatient beds, oxygen, and other equipment.

Requirements

• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients of all age ranges, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Assist technologists with patient lifting and care.
• Perform a variety of clerical activities.
• Maintain the cleanliness of transport equipment.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with hospital personnel, patients, and office staff.
• Move or lift wheelchairs, stretchers, inpatient beds, oxygen, and other equipment as needed.
