About The Position

This contract nurse position is part of the Internal Traveler Program. The role involves providing procedural sedation for patients undergoing image-guided procedures (CT, US, Fluoroscopy), including pre and post-procedure care. A key responsibility includes assisting with monitoring MRI patients with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, which requires ACLS certification. The nurse will also provide general support to the Radiology Department.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 mos from date of hire.

Responsibilities
