About The Position

The Radiology Multi-Care Tech assists in preparing patients for interventional procedures and participates in post-procedure care. The position works under the direct supervision of an RN. Success requires knowledge of the wide variety of procedures performed, effective communication, and strong awareness of the department’s schedule. The role must be able to work in all areas of the department, including MRI.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work in all areas of the department, including MRI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Self-starter and flexible with work schedule.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 1 year of hospital or clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for interventional procedures.
• Participate in patients’ post-procedure care.
