About The Position
The Cardiac and Vascular Radiologic Technologist performs, assists, and completes radiographic examinations focused on cardiac and vascular systems. This role involves executing active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced and sophisticated equipment.
Requirements
- Current certification and licensure in radiologic technology.
- Proven experience performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations.
- Strong technical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality digital images of designated body regions as requested by physicians.
- Effectively position and instruct patients during examinations, ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
- Perform specialized studies and contribute to clinical care with efficiency and proficiency.
- Utilize a high level of technical and organizational skills along with critical thinking abilities in daily tasks.
- Model, mentor, and train staff in specialized technical skills relevant to the role.
- Provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for department staff as needed.
