About The Position

The Interventional Radiology/Procedural Technologist will provide high-quality imaging and assistance with various interventional radiology procedures. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing patient care for individuals aged 0-18 years.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, with pediatric experience preferred.
  • Required licensure and certifications: ARRT-R (for lighter procedures), BLS, and WA state license.
  • Ability to work independently as the sole IR/Procedural Technologist.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures including fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided techniques.
  • Facilitate various procedures encompassing G/GJ tube placements, biopsies, myelograms, joint injections, abscess drains, and drain placements.
  • Collaborate with diverse medical staff, including RNs and MDs, ensuring effective communication and patient care.
  • Maintain high standards in producing quality images for diagnostic and procedural needs.
  • Support training in general X-ray duties as necessary based on patient census.
