About The Position

This position is within a hospital setting, specifically in Radiology/Imaging with an inpatient focus. The role requires a certified technologist to perform ultrasound studies.

Requirements

• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certificate from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Military Training Network).
• Certificate in abdomen, OB/GYN, and/or breast depending on the services provided.
• Experience performing ultrasound studies which include, but not limited to: Abdomen and retroperitoneum, small parts, gynecology, male pelvis, obstetrics, vascular imaging.
• Must hold an RDMS certificate (in abdomen, breast and/or obstetrics & gynecology depending on the services provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies including, but not limited to: Abdomen and retroperitoneum, small parts, gynecology, male pelvis, obstetrics, vascular imaging.
• Provide services depending on the specific needs of the department (abdomen, OB/GYN, and/or breast).
