Requirements

  • Applicants should be a current 2nd year student of a program of discipline.
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Radiation Operator licensed through the state Board of Radiology, ARRT within 12 months of graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Review patient history and physician’s orders.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient’s understanding and cooperation.
  • Assist with imaging exams in multiple modalities.
  • Perform various clerical duties and assist with diagnostic exams.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies.
  • Transport patients.
