About The Position

The Electrophysiology Technician will work in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience and may involve floating to three different hospitals within a 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition) to meet facility needs. The position is for a teaching hospital with 521 staffed beds. Travelers must be nicotine-free, requiring a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine. Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized upon confirmation of an assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience required.
• Cath, IR, and EP experience preferred.
• RCVT preferred.
• AHA or Red Cross ACLS and BLS required.
• RCIS also preferred in addition to the required certs.
• Must be nicotine-free (negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) DS required).
• All RTO must be included at time of submission.
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Pending License accepted: Yes

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
