About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join a high-performing cardiac catheterization team. This role involves assisting physicians in both diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab or related cardiovascular experience (preferred)
- At least 1 year of scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of: Interventional Cardiology, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Cardiovascular Anatomy & Physiology
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
- Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field OR Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
Nice To Haves
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
- Hands-on scrubbing experience in a Cath Lab (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Familiarity with interventional cardiology techniques
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) – Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures (scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring)
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and cath lab equipment
- Monitor and accurately document hemodynamic data throughout procedures
- Operate imaging and interventional equipment in compliance with radiation safety protocols
- Assist with contrast administration under physician supervision
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safe transfers
- Provide patient care and support pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Maintain equipment readiness and perform routine quality checks
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to infection control, regulatory, and safety standards
