About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Clinical Supervisor, the Radiology Tech Assistant performs general radiology support tasks, including support and patient care activities. This is a day-shift position scheduled for 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE). On-call and weekend work are not required.

Requirements

• Previous knowledge of information systems and computer literacy.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient care while performing Radiology Tech Assistant duties.
• Use Radiology equipment and software effectively in daily responsibilities.
• Maintain certifications and education requirements of the hospital and accrediting body.
• Use AIDET consistently when communicating with patients, visitors, physicians, peers, managers, volunteers, and internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
