About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Clinical Supervisor, the Radiology Tech Assistant performs general radiology support tasks, including various support and patient care activities.
Requirements
- Previous knowledge in the use of information systems and computer literacy.
- Current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective patient care while performing Radiology Tech Assistant duties.
- Use Radiology equipment and software effectively in daily responsibilities.
- Maintain certifications and meet the hospital's and accrediting body's education requirements.
- Demonstrate consistent proficiency in using AIDET when communicating with patients, visitors, physicians, peers, managers, volunteers, and internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
