About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist performs routine radiographic procedures in the main department and all satellite areas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved two-year program in Radiologic Technology.
• At least two years of experience as a Staff Radiology Technologist.
• Current New York State license in Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Knowledge of diagnostic radiographic equipment used in the department and satellite areas.
• Knowledge of Radiology drugs, including contrast media and bowel preparations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
• Time management skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Nice To Haves

• Comparable hospital-setting experience.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
