About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas. The assignment is 13 weeks, with a day shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:00. The position may float between units and could involve imaging up to 30 patients per day. The technologist must independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations and assist with fluoroscopy procedures. Weekly pay is $2,302. Eligible candidates may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week, based on the GSA FY2027 maximum for this location. The listed start date is November 2, 2026. Requirements
- Active Texas license or certification for the X-ray specialty; compact credentials are accepted where applicable.
- 1–2 years of recent X-ray experience.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- State radiologic certification where required.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations.
- Assist with fluoroscopy procedures.
- Float between units as needed.
