About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas. The position may float between units and could involve imaging up to 30 patients per day. The technologist must independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations and assist with fluoroscopy procedures. This is a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts, from 8:00 to 16:00. The assignment starts November 2, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,302. Eligible workers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week.
Requirements
- Active Texas license or certification for the X-ray specialty; compact credentials accepted where applicable.
- 1–2 years of recent X-ray experience.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- State radiologic certification where required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform routine and complex X-ray examinations.
- Assist with fluoroscopy procedures.
- Float between units as needed.
