The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures by operating radiology equipment safely, choosing proper technical factors, selecting and loading imaging cassettes, producing high-quality radiographs, and assisting physicians with contrast media and sterile procedures. Additionally, the role includes maintaining equipment, rooms, and records by keeping exam rooms clean and stocked, preventing cross-contamination, handling equipment responsibly, reporting malfunctions, and completing related clerical tasks including documentation as required. The position also supports department operations and ongoing learning by rotating shifts and departments as needed, taking on-call duty, assuming delegated responsibilities in the absence of leadership, and participating in continuing education and professional development.
