About The Position
The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. This role is PRN with a minimum shift requirement of one shift per week, offering variable night, day, and weekend shifts as needed. The position is located on the main campus and involves working with an adult patient population. Requirements
- LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others
- Relevant Work Experience
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (Required)
- Less than 1 year of experience
Responsibilities
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
- Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
