About The Position

The Cook performs a variety of tasks in preparing meals, interprets recipes, and cooks and assembles large volumes of food for cafeteria, patient, and catering meals. This is a PRN position with variable shifts at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital, a 161-bed acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers.

Requirements

• One year of experience as a cook; years spent in Culinary School may substitute for years of experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• No licensure or certification is required by law.

Nice To Haves

• Serve Safe certification preferred.
