Radiologic Technologist (RAD TECH) Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. This role is located at Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231. The work hours are PRN as needed, including holidays. The department highlights include being a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Heart Attack and Stroke Center. Texas Health Resources has been recognized on Fortune’s list of Best Workplaces in Health Care for 10 consecutive years. Over 75,000 procedures are performed annually in Diagnostic Radiology. The role covers ED, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Surgery. Equipment includes DR diagnostic rooms and portables, fluoroscopy, C-arms, O-arm, and robotic angiography systems. The team consists of over 40 staff members. Holiday rotation is required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology upon hire required
- GMRT – General Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiology within 6 months of hire required
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred
- 1-year radiologic technologist or x-ray technologist experience preferred
- Surgery Experience preferred
- Communication and computer experience helpful
- Communication, computer, and venipuncture experience helpful.
