About The Position

In this role, you will perform ionizing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in a variety of clinical settings according to physician orders, applying sound judgment in exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care practices. Requirements

  • Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
  • Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
  • Registered Radiological Technologist A.R.R.T. (R) required.
  • BLS Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality images with accuracy and efficiency, using optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment.
  • Gathers complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate and timely service to customers.
  • Provides for personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards so there is no injury to self or others.
  • Practices professional communications, appearance, conduct, punctuality, attendance and attitude that lead to physician, patient and co-worker respect and confidence.
