About The Position

RiverView Health is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to work the overnight shift. This position involves performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations while providing exceptional patient care to emergency, inpatient, and surgical patients. The technologist will work independently overnight and collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate imaging services. This role offers a rewarding overnight position with a schedule that provides significant time off and the opportunity to expand imaging skills.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication skills (verbal & written), organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety

Nice To Haves

CT certification and experience
Prior experience in a hospital or procedural setting is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
Provide compassionate, safe, and high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
Ensure radiation safety standards are followed.
Communicate effectively with providers, nursing staff, and fellow team members.
Respond to emergency imaging needs.
Participate in CT imaging if qualified or after successful completion of departmental training.
