St. Vincent's Medical Center is actively hiring Radiologic Technologists across all hours and shifts to join their dynamic team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Our Radiologic Technologists have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care environment while gaining experience with a wide variety of diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopic procedures. The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various locations including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Our Radiologic Technologists may perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
- State of Connecticut Radiographer license
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in various locations including but not limited to ambulatory or acute settings by positioning patients, operating diagnostic x-ray equipment and providing patient care during imaging exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
- May perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed.
