About The Position
Performs imaging procedures and provides patient services using imaging modalities. This role requires satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA approved school and meeting the requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and/or New York State Department of Health License. CPR or BLS certification is required. The technologist participates in orientation and continuing education, maintaining knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise, and completes population-specific competency annually.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of formal imaging training in an AMA approved school
- Meets requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
- Meets requirements for New York State Department of Health License
- CPR or BLS certification required
- Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability.
