Radiologic Technologist / Diagnostic
About The Position
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to work at an Acute Care / Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging and providing patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a 13-week contract with potential extension, paying $68 per hour. The schedule is five 8-hour night shifts, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. Possible on-call work may be required. Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field.
- Active New York State License.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills, and adaptability in high-pressure settings.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Nice To Haves
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
