About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across diagnostic imaging locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of radiologic technology experience, strong technical skills, excellent patient-care abilities, and a commitment to patient safety and quality imaging services.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional radiologic technology experience.
Appropriate radiologic technology education and training.
Current and valid professional licensure appropriate to the position and state of practice.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography procedures.
Strong patient-care and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with radiographs, C-Arm imaging, fluoroscopy, and trauma imaging preferred.
Strong technical proficiency with radiographic equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and image-quality awareness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures according to established protocols and standards.
Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including: General radiography, C-Arm imaging, Fluoroscopy, Trauma radiography.
Verify physician orders and confirm appropriate examinations before procedures.
Properly identify patients and verify exam information.
Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate instructions before and during examinations.
Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout imaging procedures.
Act as a patient advocate and respond appropriately to patient concerns.
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely and effectively.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety practices.
Follow established patient safety standards and infection-control procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Mentor and provide guidance to students and less-experienced staff when appropriate.
Demonstrate professional conduct and positive communication with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
Assist with other imaging modalities and departmental functions as needed.
Transport patients when required.
Answer and appropriately direct telephone calls.
Participate in staff meetings, educational sessions, in-services, seminars, and professional development activities.
Review and maintain familiarity with departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain current knowledge of radiologic technology practices and applicable regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in on-call responsibilities when required.
Schedule and call requirements may vary based on departmental and patient-care needs.
Flexibility to support changing operational and seasonal demands is expected.
