Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnosis of disease processes and delineation of both normal/abnormal anatomy as well as pathological conditions in areas of the human body. This role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skill levels in areas of expertise to ensure the production of high-quality images, safe operation of equipment, and adherence to quality control guidelines, state and federal regulations, and department policies/procedures. The technologist will utilize the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and Community Wide Scheduling (CWS), and must demonstrate radiation and MRI safety and protection techniques. Excellent patient care is paramount, creating an environment where customers feel valued and respected, and maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
