About The Position
ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system with a mission of service, focused on providing excellent health care by partnering with patients and their families. The Christiana Hospital Radiology Department is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist for the evening shift, including every 4th weekend and every other holiday. This role involves operating radiographic equipment, developing and identifying radiographs, covering various departments like the Emergency Department (ED) OR and Surgi center, assisting with student training, and performing quality control on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science
- RT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
Responsibilities
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
- Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon
