About The Position
The Middletown ED Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment, developing and identifying radiographs, covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro, assisting with the training of radiology technology students, and using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems. They will also operate equipment from Phillips, Siemens, Carestream, and Canon.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science
- RT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
Responsibilities
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time
- Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon
