About The Position

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – MRI to perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. This role involves working independently with all patient age groups and varying locations. Responsibilities include maintenance and repairs, participation in QA, and resolving issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. The technologist will also work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate in the instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals, and potentially in clinical research.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required
  • ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification within 30 months Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
  • Wisconsin Radiological License WI Radiological License is not necessary if ARRT (MR) certification was obtained via the post primary pathway. Upon Hire Preferred
