About The Position

Work Schedule : 50% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday through Friday 6:45AM – 1:00PM. Weekend rotation. Holiday and on-call required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – MRI to: Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations. Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
  • Previous healthcare experience
  • ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Upon Hire Required
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years of clinical experience
  • Wisconsin Radiological License WI Radiological License is not necessary if ARRT (MR) certification was obtained via the post primary pathway.
  • ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification within 30 months
  • For travelers, ARMRIT or ARRT MR and BLS required.
