About The Position

Via Christi St. Francis is seeking a Radiography Tech to join their Diagnostic Radiology team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, advocating for patient safety by managing radiation exposure and following safety protocols, executing precision imaging by expertly positioning patients and selecting technical parameters, managing the digital patient record by verifying data accuracy and lead markers before submission to PACS, and maintaining a high-readiness environment by monitoring equipment performance and optimizing clinical protocols.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Advocate for patient safety by strictly managing radiation exposure and meticulously following safety protocols to ensure a "zero-harm" environment.
Execute precision imaging by expertly positioning patients and selecting exact technical parameters to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Manage the digital patient record by verifying data accuracy and lead markers before submission to PACS, maintaining a seamless continuum of care.
Maintain a high-readiness environment by monitoring equipment performance and optimizing clinical protocols to ensure the department is always prepared for the next patient.
