About The Position

South College Dallas is seeking a Radiography Adjunct to join their team! The role involves developing and delivering academic lectures, labs, and other learning experiences to help students achieve course objectives. Responsibilities include timely grading of assignments and tests, preparing course syllabi, planning evaluation criteria, and ensuring all academic program requirements and documentation are completed and submitted on time. The instructor is also responsible for managing classroom activities, being accessible to students, and potentially traveling to clinical sites. Other duties may be assigned by the Program Director.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Radiography
ARRT credentialing in Radiography

BS preferred
Prior teaching experience
Clinical experience in Radiography

Responsibilities

Develop appropriate academic lectures, labs, and other learning experiences that allow all students to achieve course objectives.
Grade papers and tests and return them to students in a timely manner to provide feedback.
Prepare a course syllabus that reflects all course information required per South College and clearly presents information for all course evaluation expectations.
Plan evaluation criteria to ensure determination of student achievement of course objectives.
Submit a course syllabus to the appropriate Dean/Department Chair per quarterly deadlines.
Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation (e.g., clinical evaluations, competency documentation) are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines.
Submit accurate attendance/academic participation rosters as prescribed by the institution.
Submit an official grade sheet at the end of each quarter for each course taught.
Appropriately manage all classroom activities.
Remain with the class at all times (e.g., library visits, field trips).
Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance.
Traveling to visit students in clinical may be required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
