About The Position

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, with over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. These clinics offer opportunities to explore different interests or specialize in an area. The Radiographer coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and surgery procedures according to applicable standards and practices. The role receives physician orders and ensures they are executed, and verifies that equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift. This is a part-time, day-shift position at the Care Center Ada in Ada, Michigan, with 24 scheduled hours per week. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, with work every third weekend.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of relevant experience in radiology.
• CRT-Bone Densitometry (BD) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), preferred upon hire for Bone Density Sites.
