About The Position
The primary purpose of the Radiation Therapy Technologist is to perform professional duties in a variety of technical procedures under the supervision of the radiation oncologist and clinical supervisor. This person shall direct the actual application of radiation treatments and all associated procedures to the patient in accordance to the physicians' prescription and orders.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a South Carolina License.
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology and/or Radiation Therapy.
- Current registration for the American Registry of Radiologic Techologists in Radiology and/or Radiation Therapy.
- Licensure as required by the state of South Carolina (SCRQSA).
Nice To Haves
- 2 years previous work experience as a staff Radiation Therapy Technologist preferred.
