About The Position

The Radiation Therapist operates radiation therapy equipment and delivers radiation to patients as prescribed by physicians. This is a technical, fast-paced role that collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care. The position is based at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, a 443-bed, full-service acute care hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited university or hospital Radiation Therapy program.
AART and CMRT required.
CPR “C” certification required.
Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligible, with boards to be taken on the first available date following hire.
Working knowledge of treatment machines, simulators, mold room equipment, and simple treatment calculations.
Working knowledge and proficiency with Aria, Varian Truebeam, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and OSMS (Vision RT).
